Learning Disabilities Training Phase I

Anyone who teaches adults or children may encounter learners with disabilities. This manual provides a generous overview of what learning disabilities are, and it discusses ways to approach teaching someone who may have one. You can use the manual as a reference guide for yourself or to develop training workshops. The manual contains five modules on learning disabilities, with each module incorporating a case study that helps link theory to practice. The modules provide information on the nature of learning disabilities, screening and assessment processes, developing training plans and effective instructional approaches, and selecting accommodations.
