English for Work Activities

This program teaches vocabulary for more than 50 work-related activities. Students with English as a Second Language will learn the vocabulary for a range of activities, such as getting a uniform, using a cash register, and working safely with chemicals. The key vocabulary is the verbs that pertain to each of the activities. The full-colour dictionary serves as the foundation of the program. The workbook activities provide English language learns with practice to reinforce the new vocabulary. The audiotapes are ideal for students who want to learn independently; students can listen to the dialogue for each set of pictures in the dictionary. The books are aimed at students who have high beginning to intermediate language skills.
