In each 174-page workbook, twelve theme-based units present a range of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) competencies in four skill areas-listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Each unit provides activities to develop and reinforce grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, communicative competence, critical thinking, and math skills. The lessons integrate language instruction into workplace, academic, and personal contexts. The audio CD provides a wide range of authentic activities to integrate listening benchmarks.
