The Visual Literacy series of 3 books provides explanations and practice in understanding a wide variety of graphic elements that students will encounter on high school equivalency tests as well as in their daily lives. This book includes interpreting scales and timelines; organizational, tree, and flow charts; object diagrams that show how parts are related to each other and how systems work; and process and cycle diagrams. How the information is organized in each type of visual is explained and then followed by multiple choice questions that focus on interpreting the information presented. The final unit includes a series of multiple choice questions based on all the types of tables and graphs covered in the book. An answer key is provided at the back of the book.
