Emily Carr Audio MP3

Maple Leaf Series

Emily Carr (1871-1945) is one of Canada's most honored artists. As a female artist in the 1900s, she struggled to make ends meet. Emily tried to capture Canada's spirit by painting landscapes that included Aboriginal symbols and ways of life. Today, her powerful paintings are recognized all over the world. Now students can listen to the audio while reading their favourite biography. The clear and expressive audio reading supports students in reading fluently and independently. The narrators read each book at a slow pace, which helps students to establish the link between spoken and written words. A subtle audio signal alerts students to turn the page.

This product is a downloadable zip file containing the narrated chapters in MP3 format.
